Efema Mukoro; known as Black Magic or Ejay Black Magic is a Nigerian artiste, vocalist and songwriter that was born in Lagos and hails from Delta State.

The superstar began his music career while he was studying computer science in the University of Benin. He had to drop out to continue his career fully as he felt he could get better as a full-time musician and take his talent to the next level.

He eventually secured a deal with Syndik8 Records in 2010 with his unique style that centred around passion.

Black magic draws his inspiration from life experiences and the important need to express emotions using new words or simply using old words in a new way.

His single “Rainbow”, was voted as one of the top 50 songs of 2011 in the Nigerian Bloggers Choice Awards and he also picked a nomination as one of “The Most Promising Youth Aritstes” in the Dynamic Youth Awards.

His first album “Black Magic 1.0” was released in 2011; the second, “Black Magic 2.0” was released in 2013.

The singer took to Twitter around April this year to announce that his third album; Black Magic 3.0 is ready. In his own words; “The album is ready oooooo RT if you happy, let’s put some of that good energy out #believe”

At the moment, no information about the album cover or it’s release date has been made known to the general public.

Over the years, the Artiste has worked with prominent Icons like Phyno, Banky W and Seyi Shay, creating an image for himself and his career.

The rapper’s style of music remains unique and fans have acknowledged that fact over the years. His ability hasn’t been hyped or properly acknowledged over the years.
